“Aap boliye, baaki main kar doongi.”
A voice helper for parents who find smartphones confusing. One big button. They ask in Hindi, English or both, and Kahiye opens the right app for them: a recipe video, a cab home, groceries, a call to family.
These are the things parents usually phone their children about. Tap one to see what happens on their phone.
Older adults are the first target of phone fraud, so Kahiye is built to never act on its own.
Kahiye opens the call, the message, the cab or the cart. It never presses Call, Send, Confirm or Pay itself.
Mention an OTP, a “KYC update” or prize money, and Kahiye says it is very likely a fraud and asks them to call family. Nothing opens.
Shopping links come only from the brand’s verified website. Family phone numbers stay with whoever set the phone up and are never sent to the AI.
Each request is one round trip, usually a few seconds.
One tap on the yellow button. Android turns their Hinglish into text.
It works out what they want and picks one of ten actions, from playing a video to booking a cab. It never writes a link itself.
It builds the link from verified sources, says in Hindi what it is doing, then opens the right app.
My mother asked a voice assistant for the Mochi website to buy sandals. It gave her a description instead of a link.
My parents don’t want to learn new apps. They want to say what they need and have it happen. Kahiye is built for them first.
It runs on Android and is in private testing with my family. It is not on the Play Store yet.
Want to try it with your parents, or have questions?
